I’m back from my short break and ready to blog again. The markets did not crash while I was away (a small “miracle”), and portfolios have been performing within expectations.
In the weeks ahead, I will be unloading more positions to lock in gains, as I expect a correction on the horizon. Nothing dramatic, just the markets doing what they always do, move, confuse, and test our patience.
With that said, the keyboard is officially back in action. Here is a thought. Writing a newsletter, book, or blog is its own peculiar adventure equal parts discipline, persistence, and, at times, sheer stubbornness. For most who attempt it, the sacrifices outweigh the rewards. My own journey has been no exception.
Over the last 30 years, I have written more articles and commentaries than I can easily count. Each one has been a test of patience, conviction, and tolerance. Writing forces clarity. It demands that I strip down noisy markets into something readers can digest and, hopefully, enjoy.
The truth is, writing has connected me to readers, partners, and investors across the world. Those exchanges have been as rewarding as any profitable trade.
On that note, a heartfelt thank you to my partners, readers, and supporters. Your encouragement makes both the markets and the writing journey far more rewarding than they would be alone.
