Football at its peak, office productivity at its nadir, the perfect balance of sports fervor and workplace escapism. Euro 2024 is finally here and taking place across four weeks in Germany. There are 24 teams split into six groups, which will then move on to a round of 16, quarters, semis and the final in Berlin on July 14.
Each match promises riveting drama and skillful displays of athleticism as teams vie for glory on the grand stage. The official mascot is named Albärt following a vote conducted among UEFA.com users and schoolchildren across Europe, through the UEFA Football in Schools programme. Albärt, a teddy bear, won 32% of the vote.
Beyond the games themselves, the Euro Cup 2024 is a celebration of unity and diversity, bringing together people from diverse backgrounds and cultures under one common love for the beautiful game. It is a time when differences are set aside, and shared joy and camaraderie take center stage.
Enjoy the games!
