Two out of three Americans say they are concerned that political violence could follow the November election rematch between Joe Biden and Donald Trump, a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll found.
The survey of 3,934 US adults found widespread worries that the US could see a repeat of the unrest that followed Trump’s 2020 election defeat, when the then-president’s false claim that his loss was the result of fraud prompted thousands of followers to storm the US Capitol.
Nobody can predict the future, especially when it comes to elections! The outcome of an election depends on many factors including voter turnout, current events, and public opinion. Well, the upcoming US election, just five months away, is poised to significantly influence the global economy and financial markets.
Who do you believe will emerge victorious in November? What are your reasons for your prediction? Candidates include Joe Biden, Donald Trump and someone else (not me).
I kindly request your insights via email, and greatly value your feedback on this matter. The results of the survey will be covered in our next “back to school” webinar.
