Peter Bernstein once captured the essence of investing with disarming clarity:
“You have to be prepared to be wrong and understand that your ego must not depend on being proven right. Being wrong is part of the process. Survival is the only road to riches.”
This is not a warning meant to scare investors. It is a reminder to humble them. Markets are too complex, too adaptive, and too unforgiving for certainty to be a sustainable strategy. Even the best investors are wrong, often. What separates those who endure from those who disappear is not brilliance but resilience.
Ego demands validation. Markets punish it. The moment your identity becomes tied to being right, you stop managing risk and start defending positions. That is usually when losses compound.
Survival, on the other hand, is quiet. It means staying solvent, and living to play the next hand. Over time, survival compounds far more reliably than conviction ever will.
In this webinar, I will share my own 30-year history of being wrong, misjudgments, drawdowns, painful losses, and the valuable lessons that came with them.

I look forward to meeting you, and thank you for supporting my work.
