As we enter the end of the year, Wall Street’s mass of analysts and economists are busy rolling out long jargon-packed reports predicting what is to come in the year ahead. In an effort to stay ahead of the competitors, some of the big boys raised their price targets for the stock market just weeks after setting them.
Elsewhere, the momentum has slowed down at Mind to Profit. Indeed, ladies and gentlemen, this will be my last post on the blog for the year 2023. Fear not as this is not a goodbye but a “see you soon.” This blog which is still in the testing phase will be back in early January 2024. This short break will provide me with the opportunity to recharge, spend quality time with family members and gather inspiration for exciting content in the coming year.
In a world often driven by material pursuits, it’s easy to lose sight of the intangible aspects that truly enrich our lives. During this time, take pause and appreciate the non-material aspects that bring real meaning and joy to our existence.
Some people are regularly putting posts in the social media about how busy, successful or even complicated their lives are. If I could give a piece of advice to any of them, appreciate this moment, stop and look around you and be thankful for all you have and where you are.
Also, we have to be mindful of our health. As we get older, our bodies, as an older engine, start to require higher-quality life to run and require more tuning up to maintain the same output of energy. We have to know when to “slow down” a bit.
I have met some new people in the last couple of days. I can tell you that they are very successful in what they are doing. They are some of the coolest people I have ever met. Yes, I have learned a few tricks from them. Their faith in me is rather touching.
For anyone of you who have supported my work through all the ups and downs this year and over the decades, I want to tell you how much I really appreciate you. I’m genuinely excited about the future and the opportunities that lie ahead for us. It is an honor to work with you, and I’m grateful for the meaningful relationship we have built together.
Wishing you a reflective and joy-filled holiday season.
